Delete Your TheYard Account

Sign in, open Settings, choose Account security, then choose Permanently delete my account and complete both confirmations. The same web flow works from iOS, Android, and a desktop or mobile browser; app installation is not required.

If you cannot access your account, contact support@jointheyard.co from the account email address for identity-safe assistance. Support is not required when you can sign in.

Deletion removes the Supabase authentication user, active sessions and refresh tokens, profile, posts, comments, discussions, messages, follows, reactions, notifications, device registrations, and uploaded account media.

If you own a group, transfer ownership or permanently delete the group before deleting your account. This prevents a shared community from being orphaned.

De-identified moderation reports, security events, legal records, and short-lived backups may be retained only when reasonably necessary for abuse prevention, dispute resolution, recovery, or legal obligations.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Outstanding access tokens expire according to the production authentication token lifetime and cannot create a new session after the Auth user is deleted.
