Debate performances, rankings, history, and culture without targeting people with harassment, threats, slurs, humiliation, or repeated unwanted contact.
Use an authentic identity. Do not impersonate members, schools, bands, Greek organizations, creators, or public institutions.
TheYard prohibits hate, harassment, violent threats, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate media, doxxing, fraud, spam, malware, illegal activity, graphic abuse, block evasion, and attempts to compromise the service.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation material, grooming, sexualization of minors, trafficking, and content that facilitates harm to a child are strictly prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
Do not post private addresses, phone numbers, schedules, travel details, or other sensitive information without consent. Do not upload media you lack the right to share.
Credit creators and preserve source attribution. Imported publisher content is labeled as third-party media and must not be presented as a member's original post.
Do not send threats, scams, spam, unwanted sexual content, coercion, or repeated messages after someone declines, ignores, or blocks you.
Blocking is a hard boundary. Attempting contact through alternate accounts, groups, mentions, or indirect requests may lead to suspension.
Use the in-app report control on a post, comment, profile, discussion, group, or message so moderators receive the relevant context. Use blocking when you need an immediate boundary.
Moderation is primarily reactive to reports and operational signals. Moderators may remove or quarantine content, restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, and document decisions. Serious or repeated violations can result in permanent removal.
